Selling On EBay

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

Buy something for dirt cheap, less than 99 cents and sell it for $5 to $6. Minus the listing fees, you can still make a good profit. I have some success with digital products in the past but now it is getting harder. The chances are very slim of arbitraging on ebay items but if you are willing to commit the time, it is possible.

Alternatively, offer to sell something on Ebay with your account and charge them a nominal fee of $1 to cover costs and labor. You won’t get rich but it is a realistic way to earn some money.

Driving Less Today - Blame Oil Prices

Monday, January 28th, 2008

Escalating prices - specifically rising gas prices - have taken their toll on Americans, causing them to drive less. Most of my friends and me included feel that the recent price increases in gasoline have caused financial hardship.

Rising fuel prices have caused most Americans to cut back on their driving. Of the over 1,000 American adults surveyed in the poll conducted March 14-16, 64% said they have made some changes to their driving behavior as a result of higher gas prices, with 19% saying they have cut back on driving enough to have a major effect on their daily lives. And 5% say they have stopped driving altogether.

Economists are asking what is the breaking point for when gas prices take their toll on the consumer? For me, we have reached the point already.

Collecting Scraps To Earn Money

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

You know all the scavengers who collect cans, bottles, scrap metal, etc and sell it to a buyer.

From what I saw elsewhere it takes a good bit of scrap to make any money. But if you do manage to collect it in bulk, as in kilos and tonnes, the money can be quite lucrative. Logistics and manpower is needed, a one-man show is not going to cut it.

Busy With Passive Income Research

Friday, January 18th, 2008

This week, I hope to research more on the steps involved in making money online. I am interested on what all the experts describe as Passive Income. I am on a binge right now and gobbling up everything on this topic, hopefully, I can throw up something worthwhile to engage in.

Check this blog for more updates from my passive income research later on.

Buying A Lottery

Saturday, January 12th, 2008

I see many people engrossed with lottery, gambling and stuff. I agree that the fastest way to get enormous amount of money in the bank with minimal outlay is to buy a $1 lottery ticket.

But chances are very good that the $1 is gone as the probability of success is stacked too high. I buy lottery but I don’t think this is the right way to get rich.

One Thing At A Time

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

I have so much to learn and I want to do everything at once, but my instinct tells me that is a big mistake.

A lot of people fail to succeed because they jump from program to program and never give anything a real chance. Nothing is going to make us rich overnight so get over the idea. A business plan can help us to prepare for every step of progress.

I am not ambitious nor a marketing genius, I can only do my best and focus on dealing with one thing at a time.
