Seven To Ten

Do you know there are some blogs which offer lyric challenges as a contest? Some may offer monetary rewards while some give you points. Whatever the case, it is more for fun rather than to make money. I am game for such contests once in a while as it test my knowledge of songs which I have heard before, and there are plenty.

But sometimes, I am stumped by the puzzle and have to do some research for lyrics. I came across one really cool site, Flametune. There are lots of music related stuff which musicians and music lovers will enjoy. Last I counted, there are at least hundreds of bands and thousands of songs available.

One of my favorite artistes is Van Morrison and I used the search function to zoom into Van Morrison Lyrics. Listening to these beautiful tunes brings back wonderful memories and of course, the romantic courtship of my wife. Some of the songs like “Goodbye George” and “She’s A Baby” are her favorites too.

Besides finding out the lyrics, I am surprised that they also offer Van Morrison Guitar Tabs. I can play a bit of guitar and really appreciate this. Now I can act like a real pro, guitar in hand and serenade to my wife, she will be so impressed. For your information, there are also Van Morrison Bass Tabs too.

While I use the site mainly for lyrics, any musicians (budding or professional) could go nuts with the hundreds of guitar, bass, drum and even mandolin tabs offered.
