James Cameron is no stranger to technological breakthroughs in movie making. After an extended hiatus from making his romantic blockbuster “Titanic” and other sci-fi juggernauts as “Aliens” and the original “Terminator”, he is back with an eye-popping, groundbreaking action/adventure/romance, “Avatar.”

Costing more than $300 million, moviegoers can catch new cinematic technologies, a rain forest planet, a functioning language were created.
