222 Technology And IT Trends In 2010

TrendsSpotting recently published their market research on technology trends in 2010. In this third annual report, they came up with six major categories comprising 222 predictions by digital and marketing experts.

The twist to this report is that they are doing it “tweet” style, ie. each expert will share a trend they spotted within 140 characters. Some of the common findings they found that will influence the tech trends in 2010 are summarised in these keywords:

@Clouds – free, private, public, green, data, identify
@Mobile – apps, store, iPhone, Android, location (AR – augmented reality)
@Netbooks – cheap notebooks/smartphones, Google
@eBooks – Amazon, apps
@Social – enterprising, computing
