Tweeting Kettle Alerts You When It is Boiling

 tweeting kettle tweetle

Many people has become inseparable from social networks but you know things have gotten out of hand when you say a kettle and Twitter in the same sentence, or you can call it Tweetle in short.

As if you are not busy enough tweeting and reading your friends’ tweets, now, there’s a Wi-Fi enabled kettle that sends out a tweet when it is boiling! It will also display how many times it boils each week, and how much water boiled up.

I find the Twettle kettle very stylish in design but I seriously don’t need a tweet to remind me. Just a conventional siren will suffice and I will rush into the kitchen to turn off the kettle. Else I will have to bring my laptop or mobile phone around the house, even into the toilet, just for that all-important tweet.

The price of the Twettle is also not cheap at $115.  For a kettle with only a smart Twitter alert.. erm no thanks!
