Chris Varenhorst, a graduate of MIT Computer Science, bought an old soda machine from Craigslist and connected it to the internet.
He makes an interesting tweak by writing an iPhone app to dispense beer and soda upon your command. Just imagine a cold drink waiting for you when you return home.
