First 3G Modem Router Combo from Digi
DiGi has taken mobile broadband to the next level with MiFi – a portable 3G modem cum router. MiFi fits snugly into your pocket and support up to 5 different devices simultaneously.
DiGi’s MiFi comes with a reported 5 hour battery life and is able to churn out data at HSDPA speeds (the speed is not guaranteed though). If you need video conferencing, depending solely on WiFi is not a safe solution but for most internet surfing, this gadget should suffice.

Thanks for the tip. I spent some time reading through a lot of fon.com webpages witch were mostly about their WiFi ‘community’ ,and your wiki, I could not find the normal full specification I would expect to see for a ’3G Wireless-N Router’. I travel lightly, and need to know the Dimensions and Weight of it, also their 3G USB Modem Compatibility list, preferably also a User Manual.
It is not correct that the MiFi cannot be used in its standard configuation while tethered. The WiFi functions do not work, but it does function as a regular USB EVDO modem, and can be used wiith the laptop it is tethered to using the Sprint connection software.
Digi Mifi? Have plan for Prepaid with Wifi? I’m Student cannot pay month bills.. please do plan for me need cheap and use Digi Mifi
