Experience Kinect Motion Control On Xbox 360 Live

Since Project Natal, now called Kinect, was announced at E3 last year, Microsoft has been hard at work. It promised to bring full body motion control to the Xbox 360 and at E3 2010, it did not disappoint.

Xbox 360 with Project Natal (Kinect) is more than a Wii clone. It provides a unique experience that caters not only to hardcore gamers.
There are games for girls (Kinectimals) and sports fans (Kinect Adventurous; Kinect Sports).

Big boys like Konami, Lucas Arts and Turn 10 Studios have embraced the next-gen controller system by developing games for adults, like Metal Gear Solid and Star Wars Kinect.

Another fun feature of Microsoft Xbox 360 is the alternative dashboard using Kinect. To log-in, you just wave your hand. Making selections and browsing through media is easy too, just swipe your hand to move the on-screen cursor. Kinect also recognizes voice commands.

Microsoft has leapfrogged above competitors Sony and Nintendo with full body motion control. Not having a controller may have drawbacks for certain games, but the gaming experience is superior as you fully immerse yourself in the action.

If the Kinect experiment proves successful, Microsoft will be the kingpin of motion control on the gaming console and computer. By the way, the Xbox 360 kinect is set to hit retail stores by November. Are you looking forward to connect with Kinect?

At the end of the day, I have no desire to dance around in front of my TV or pretend to run in place. If I want to do something, I’ll do it for real. When I’m in the mood to play games, I’ll take the precise input of a controller in my hands.

Kinect will allow you to do some exercises and lose body fat instead of sitting on a chair for hours.

But I agree precise inputs will require a controller, especially action games where you use combos to execute special moves. It will difficult for Kinect to read your body movements accurately.

I guess this will be a lot better than the Wii. It’s amazing that these guys had invented Kinect which could read our movements accurately. I’m definitely looking forward to this. :D

I wonder the same thing. But what im thinking is that kinect really has a step up over sony and nintendo because xbox can recognize you without controllers right? So whats stopping microsoft from inventing a Playstation move like controller for kinect as well. If they do this we will have the best of both worlds.

I surprised to see such latest device.it is very much fashionable.I think this device take more time to come over the sony and nintendo.Microsoft formally unveiled the Kinect “controller-free gaming device” for the Xbox 360 gaming console at the E3 video game convention.how long time they took?but controllers are good of this device. resulting good output for owner.
