Sony’s Dust and Waterproof Smartphones – Xperia Go and Acro S
Sony has introduced two durable and waterproof smartphones with streamlined design. Industry research shows that consumers like the above qualities in a smartphone and Sony did not disappoint with its latest Android-powered cool gadgets featuring extra protection like scratch-resistant displays and wet finger tracking.
The Xperia go comes with a 3.5” “Reality Display,” a 5MP camera, a 1GHz dual-core processor, Sony’s Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited services and Android 2.3 (upgradable to Android 4.0). It offers the highest level of dust and water resistance in a smartphone – IP67 Rating.
The higher-spec’d Xperia acro S has a 4.3” 720p HD Reality Display, a 12MP camera with full 1080p HD video recording and 720p HD front camera, and a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor. The Xperia acro S is also PlayStation Certified and ships with Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
I like the outstanding visual displays. You can expect razor sharp clarity from Sony’s lauded Bravia television technology which has been converted to its ‘Mobile Engine’. They are also very camera friendly, allowing photographic bugs fast capture by going from sleep to snap in just over a second. That speed elevates Sony Xperias to one of the fastest cameras around.
