LG Latest G series Smartphone Unveiled – LG G2
LG’s new flagship G series smartphone have finally been revealed in New York after lots of teasers.
The specs are quite impressive. Spotting a 5.2-inch display 1920×1080 IPS display with a 423ppi pixel density, the LG G2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2.26GHz quad-core Krait CPU and Adreno 330 GPU. The smartphone also comes with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM that runs at 800MHz and internal storage options of either 16GB or 32GB.
With the support for 24 bit/192kHz Hi-Fi playback, the 8.9mm-thick smartphone also features a 13-megapixels rear camera with optical image stabilization as well as a 2.1-megapixels front-facing camera. There is also a 3,000mAh battery to complete LG G2’s hardware package.
One of the unique feature on LG G2 is the volume rocker and power button are all located at the back – just underneath the camera. There are no front and side buttons like most smartphones which we are accustomed to.
On the software side of the business, the LG G2 runs on Android 4.2.2 with some of their in-house features such as Answer Me that automatically allow users to answer phone calls once they raised the phone to their ears and Guest Mode which allow G2 owners to restrict what apps that other users aside from themselves are able to access. Owners are also able use the device as a remote control through the QuickRemote feature.
