Olivia Wilde, the sexy American model and actress, has a nude scene in an upcoming movie The Change-Up.

Too bad the nipples are fake… Olivia wasn’t naked as she wore pasties to cover up. The nipples were added using computer generated imagery (GCI) during post production to make the sex scene realistic.

Olivia Wilde said: “I got to approve the nipples! They sent me an email saying, ‘Please review nipple cover shot one through seven and decide which one is most like the original.’ I don’t know what he (producer) was using as source material… but I think it’s pretty close.”

Well, if you are an Olivia Wilde fan, you just have to take it as that. Let’s hope this is not the start of an industry trend though where CGI technology is being used to attract moviegoers in steamy sex scenes with fake details.

It started with Jessica Alba’s “nude” scene in Machete (NSFW) which digitally stripped off her undies and now they’re doing it with Olivia Wilde’s nips.

No matter how seductive the scene, looking at computer generated artwork is different. At least body doubles aren’t so bad…

I have often heard complaints about the bad influence of rock stars, drugs, sex, etc. Well, you may soon get the music, without the people. In other words, get ready to be entertained by robot guitarists.

Technology has improved so much that robots can mimic a rock star in shredding an electric guitar (see video below). Meet the robotic string instrument, Poly-tangent, Automatic (multi-) Monochord or PAM in short which is built by Expressive Machines Musical Instruments.

While it is a good start for PAM’s creators, I think robotic pop stars will be years in the making. Right now, PAM sounds too mechanical and has no soul to mesmerize the audience.

But like Big Blue which eventually trumps the best human chess player, a guitar robot may one day gain a human touch if we keep imparting it our personal playing experience through fine tuning the vibrato, string pulling/bending, etc.

Will you guys pay money to watch a rock concert by guitar robots?

Cristiano Ronaldo’s WAG, Irina Shayk, is reportedly furious that the Spanish edition of GQ magazine photoshopped her lingerie pics so that she appears naked.

A press release from her PR agency reads:

“In every image photographed Ms. Shayk was dressed in lingerie in the artistic and tasteful shots done by famed photographer Vincent Peters but due to negligence on GQ’s part it seems as if Ms. Shayk ‘poised’ [sic] for pictures entirely nude, which is false. A contract was signed on behalf of Ms. Shayk by Elite Model Management where she was to have approval of the interview, cover and images and was refused that right by the publication.”

Irina Shayk upset with nudity? Football fans must be surprised the sexy Russian supermodel is actually a beacon of morality. Anyway, you guys take a look and see if the photoshop skill is good.

Paraguayan model Larissa Riquelme’s efforts to bolster her country’s morale at the FIFA World Cup 2010 with a cellphone wedged between her breasts have inspired Chinese women in many ways.

At the ChinaJoy video game convention this summer, a young woman (above) used her cleavage to store a cell phone, similar to Larissa Riquelme style of safeguarding her cell phone at the World Cup.

Beijing Film Academy student Han Yifei honored her promise to pose nude should the Chinese Men’s national basketball team make it past the first round in the 2010 FIBA World Championship. She has been accused of copying Larissa Riquelme’s oath for the Paraguayan football team in the World Cup.

Larissa Riquelme cellphone in her bosom has not only attracted men but also become a fashion statement for women. A contestant at the Chinese National Lingerie Model Competition in Guangzhou (below) tried pulled off the stunt and immediately became famous.

Will other beauty pageants now require contestants to imitate Larissa Riquelme, the Paraguayan “Breast Goddess?” I guess that is fine with me but it will be sad to see cell phone promotions focusing on cleavages rather than technical specifications.

A popular seaside town of Atami (near Tokyo) has brought this dating game to reality for all geeks out there, all thanks to a game called Love Plus.

Players can now bring their virtual girlfriend on a romantic “vacation” to beach resort. There are 13 locations where you can scan a 2D barcode which will produce images of young girls in the game.

You can even pose for a picture with the virtual girls who wear attires cute/sexy enough to drive any hot-blooded game fan crazy.

But I have to warn you. Love Plus can be a very addictive dating simulator game. There is one guy who got so involved with his virtual girlfriend, he married her in a Tokyo ceremony last year.

You may lose yourself further by going on this actual field trip. Though a virtual girlfriend is not healthy but at least, she will never make any demands or break up with you.

Farmville addicts have good reason to cheer. Very soon, their their beloved agricultural simulator game on Facebook will appear on mobile platforms like the iPhone, iPad and Android OS.

The rumors began circulating when domain names (farmvilleandroid.com, farmvilleipad.com, farmvilleiphone.com and farmvillesms.com) were discovered to be registered to DNStination Inc. who also holds the official website domain (farmville.com) for the Zynga game.

In addition, a statement from a Zynga Spokesperson confirmed that they have plans to expand to various mobile platforms.

Fertilizing crops on the go can definitely kill boredom and we can make ourselves more popular on Facebook by helping out on our neighbors’ farms. I expect workplace productivity to drop while we go into crop tending and harvesting frenzy.

Bosses will be crying foul as their employees bury themselves in their iPhones under the pretext of working. But there is little they can do as Farmville is so popular, with more than 80 million users, it will be hard-pressed to find an employee who is not a virtual farmer.

Sony and FIFA are gonna revolutionize World Cup 2010 with 3D broadcast. I can’t wait, just thinking of experiencing the players’ exhilarating movement and close ball control.

A list of World Cup 2010 games that’ll be broadcast in 3D was just released, with ESPN taking care of the US audience, Sogecable for Spain, and more partners to come (including eight matches for selected 3D cinemas around the world).

Out of all ten stadiums, only five of these — Soccer City and Ellis Park in Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth — are chosen for the 3D broadcast. Each venue will have seven 3D-camera positions with three above the pitch and four on pitch level, and don’t forget the two “3D Outside Broadcast” trucks that’ll be busy shuffling between stadiums to process the footage for us all.

If you end up totally loving the 3D experience, a Blu-ray 3D compilation disc will be available within 2010. This souvenir should go nicely with the updated PS3 by then. Sony’s console may also undergo a 3D upgrade around the same time as the launch of its 3D TVs.

The World Cup 2010 is but two months away. I bet it will be a blast for all soccer fans…
