Build A Niche Buisness

Friday, April 18th, 2008

There are niche businesses you can get into like candy machines which can earn you a passive income. It may seem like a lowly job, acting like a delivery and service man. But if you do it right, considering the right locations, you should have no problem producing a regular income from the machines.

The work involved are basically to tend to the machines a few times a month, stock them, repair them when necessary and purchase supplies. Patience and perseverance are needed to succeed. I have conducted some research and will talk more about this money-making business later.

One Thing At A Time

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

I have so much to learn and I want to do everything at once, but my instinct tells me that is a big mistake.

A lot of people fail to succeed because they jump from program to program and never give anything a real chance. Nothing is going to make us rich overnight so get over the idea. A business plan can help us to prepare for every step of progress.

I am not ambitious nor a marketing genius, I can only do my best and focus on dealing with one thing at a time.

Writing To Success

Sunday, December 30th, 2007

Ok, back to the business plan. Three words to summarize the core business competency - “Content is king.” In this blogging business, the first success ingredient is to write really well and get readers to come back. It is crucial to making money online but easier said than done at times.

I am not the best writer around but I love writing. There are of course other ways to make money on the Internet. Individual results vary, some are more profitable, some entail more work and some require talents and thinking out of the box.

Besides writing, there are people who offer their website design skills, music writing, games, bookkeeping, marketing, etc. Of the above mentioned, I have none of the requisite abilities and while I can self-teach myself to stay in the game, I will stick to writing for the time being.

The First Steps to Make Money Online

Tuesday, December 25th, 2007

Must start already… but I haven’t ANY idea on making a living online. Never done it before, so where do I start? The google searches throw up so much information it is daunting.

At first glance, there are certainly many mentors around but they only provide a guide to making money online. Ultimately I have to do all the work by myself, that much is clear.

A colleague once told me that before you start any business, you need a business plan. That applies to online or home-businesses as well.

I will get to thinking tonight and see if I can determine a clear direction for this blog.
