Erik Schiegg from Switzerland deserves a round of applause, for thinking out of the box. He attached a solar panel to his dog’s weather protection suit, and managed to tap enough solar power to charge his mobile phone.

The prototype “solar dog” charger works in cloudy weather conditions and it’s at a better angle to the sun than if he was wearing it, says Shiegg. He further says…
